How our family made a room float for a photo! 😳💙 #CanonPartner Weeks of planning and days of jellyfish making came down to this one moment 😬. For this photo, we wanted to create an underwater dream world, captured entirely in-camera, so we decided to create glowing jellyfish props that looked as real as possible. We ended up doing a combination of hot glue, fiber optic lights, LED strips lights, and ribbon to bring the jellyfish to life. We spent nearly a week making and remaking the jellies until we got it right 😅, then we spent a few more days completing the set. Once it was all ready to go, we only had one chance to capture it because we were leaving on a long trip the next day. We were down to the wire! Eloise rested on the platform while Emma handled the bubbles, Oliver moved the jellyfish, Nick used a leaf blower to move her hair, and I captured it all with my @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II and RF24mm F1.4 L VCM Lens. I can’t say enough about this magical duo! I can switch back and forth between capturing videos and photos so easily during photoshoots now, which is a game changer for recording our behind the scenes moments.
