Hime cut (he-may) styled with @elevenaustralia shine spray. And yes, that’s how you pronounce it! Not Hi Me or HI’m. He May = Hime. Possibly one of the most timeless haircuts in the world today. Insisted this shine spray not just for the reflection, it also gives incredible humidity protection! Give it a try. @ELEVEN Australia
Oops, looks like I do all “shit haircuts” normally, I would not point out another stylist video publicly. And I am not critiquing this man’s work. I haven’t really looked at any of his work to be honest, but I strongly disagree with everything he says in this video. I know he posted another video back peddling saying we didn’t understand but the guy literally says you shouldn’t lift up the crown! Lol speaking in absolutes shows that you are no expert in haircutting. I encourage you guys to try so many things and find your own way!
Honestly, even though it’s an impulsive move, I think a break up Bob is usually a great idea. Styling this break up Bob @ELEVEN Australia products! So excited to have them sponsor me at @Hairbrained sessions in New York and Minneapolis!
If your client asks you for a “90s layers” or “bold layers that stand out” try a convex shape that follows the shape of the head when you’re looking at your client from the side. To preserve length on the side and the back you can over direct to the center and extend the length past the occipital bone. Remember you are designing these haircuts so you can make any changes that you want! But convex shapes sit bold and full, so the layers will stand out for clients that want them to! Upcoming classes that aren’t sold out! 10 Tickets left for our cut and color hands-on in Washington DC! June 16 Link in my bio! Ticket available soon for @hairbrained_official sessions Minneapolis!
