8 MUST see stops along the Icefield Parkway🚗🏔️ In order as shown in the video: 📍Athabasca Falls 📍Sunwapta Falls 📍Athabasca Glacier 📍Maligne Canyon 📍Peyto Lake 📍Bow Lake 📍Maligne Lake 📍Spirit Island However, the order in which you would drive is this… 💙Bow Lake - if you’re driving from Banff to Jasper, it will be on your left-hand side and there are plenty of pull offs to stop and enjoy the view! 🐺Peyto Lake - in order to see the iconic wolf shaped lake, you must hike 1.5 miles up a steady incline. There’s a parking lot below but it fills up QUICK. 🏔️Maligne Canyon - this was a super short hike from the parking lot. It’s easy to get down to, but a bit of an incline on the way back. It’s a bit further down the icefield parkway. 🧊Athabasca Glacier - you can either do the hike to the toe of the glacier (less than a mile) or you can book a tour to actually walk on the glacier! We did both and definitely recommend getting to walk on the glacier. ☀️Sunwapta Falls - super easy stop, literally right off of the highway. There are hikes, but the viewpoint is basically in the parking lot 🏔️Athabasca Falls - another easy stop right off the side of the highway. The falls are on the left side of the road and the rock view point is on the right side. It’s pretty easy to find! 🩵Maligne Lake - this stop is in Jasper NP, and it’s a stunning lake! We actually did a boat tour but you can also kayak to…. 🛶Spirit Island- you can’t come to Jasper NP and not see the iconic spirit island. The only way here is by a boat tour or to kayak. Though kayaking would take ALL day. We do regret not kayaking it though, so I guess we will have to go back 😉 Which stop is your favorite?👀 #icefieldparkway #roadtrip #canadaroadtrip #banffnationalpark #jaspernationalpark #travel #travelcouple #adventure #Outdoors #Hiking

You can’t miss this hike in Bryce Canyon National Park🤯🏜️ We did the Queens Garden + Navajo Loop Trail, and it was absolutely stunning! We hiked it in March, so the trail was snowy and muddy, but the contrast against the red rock formations was unreal. 🥹 Pro tip: wear proper hiking boots or crampons—we saw people slipping around in tennis shoes 🫣. And don’t forget to check @alltrails for recent trail conditions! We camped just 2 minutes from the park at a no-hookup campground we found on @ioverlander for only $30/night. 🏕️ It was super convenient for catching sunrise, which is the time to hit this trail! HIKE DETAILS👇🏽 📍Trail Name - Queens Garden + Navajo Loop, Bryce Canyon NP 🥾Distance - 3 miles round trip 🏔️Elevation Gain - Moderate on @alltrails ⏰ Recommended clockwise loop 🚗 Parking is at Sunset Point but fills up fast—arrive early! 📌Save this for your next trip to @vegas 🚐👀 If you’re going to Vegas and want something to do besides casinos… @travelnevada has so many hidden gems that are 1-2 hours away from the city 🤯 🌈7 magic mountains has been on my bucket list since they installed them back in 2016. It’s a random stop but totally worth it. Just make sure you get there at sunrise to avoid all the people. 🔥Valley of Fire is a stunning state park with so many fun hikes to do. We were only there for a day, but we felt like that was enough time to hit the major highlights. Which were mouse tank road, the fire wave, and white dome trail. 🏜️Cathedral Gorge was definitely hidden gym. I recently heard about the state park and we were blown away. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive. We did the Juniper Loop Trail and felt like we were another planet. 👻Nelson Ghost Town was also in the middle of nowhere. We were just driving through the mountains and all of a sudden there’s this little town on the side of the road. It was free unless you walked around longer than 15 minutes and then it was a dollar person. It’s definitely a unique stop with all kinds of antique buildings, cars, gas pumps, and more. Which is your favorite?👀 #visitnevada #vistvegas #travel #Outdoors #rvlife #travelcouple

You can’t miss this hike in Banff National Park 🤯🏔️ We did the Little Beehive via Lake Agnes trail at sunrise, so we caught the golden hour glow on the peaks and it was the most magical experience we’ve ever had🥹 But—early mornings mean chilly starts, so layer up! 🧥(even in July which is when we went) This area is in Grizzly territory, so don’t forget your bear spray and make plenty of noise. 🐻 Safety first! We went with our friends @georgeandcris and honestly we wouldn’t have attempted this just the two of us. 😅 HIKE DETAILS👇🏽 📍Trail Name - Little Beehive via Lake Agnes, Banff NP 🥾Distance - 4.6 miles 🏔️Elevation Gain - 1,312 ft 🔸Rated Moderate on @alltrails Tag someone you’d hike this with! 💌 #banff #banffnationalpark #canadahikes #albertahikes #hikingadventures #nationalparks #outdoorlife

Rumor has it their jaw is still on the floor…🤯❄️ … and her hair is still frozen😂 PLACES IN BANFF THAT HAD US SHOOK👇🏽 🩵Lake Minnewanka - We walked across this frozen lake with the Canadian Rockies jutting behind us… it was a sight to behold 🤯 *please do your research before walking on a frozen lake ❄️Johnston Canyon - This is one of the most popular hikes because of how accessible and family friendly it is. We recommend getting there early! This is a great hike in the summer, but even more magical in the winter with the frozen waterfall. Be sure to wear ice cleats and bundle up!!🥶 🏔️Banff Gondola Boardwalk - The view after you ride the gondola is INSANE. This is a popular thing to do in Banff year round for a reason. We went just before sunset and it was absolutely magical ✨ 🐺Peyto Lake - this is a short hike that’s accessible year round. If you go in the winter please wear hiking boots and ice cleats to prevent falling! We went first thing in the morning and it was dead silent at the view point which is near impossible to experience that type of silence in Banff NP… I may have shed a tear or two😭 💧Natural Bridges - this is an insane waterfall in the summer but in the winter it’s a cave with a frozen waterfall. (It’s a short walk from a parking lot so it’s super accessible) We watched someone else go in first before we explored and it was insane to still hear the water rushing behind it😳 🏔️Emerald Lake - located in Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake is simply stunning. There’s a cute lodge and places to even stay here! We just did a quick morning here to experience it in the winter and it’s just as magical as it is in the summer❄️ 🏨Surprise Corner - this is a scenic viewpoint in Banff National Park overlooking the Fairmont Banff Springs. We went at sunrise but found that sunset was a better experience with all of the window lights on✨ Who’s planning a 2025-2026 winter Banff trip now?!👀 #banff #banffnationalpark #explorecanada #explorealberta #wintervacation #winteradventures #winterwonderland #travel #bucketlistexperience

This might be the best 24-hour itinerary for Olympic National Park 👀🌲 We explored this incredible park in September and packed as much as we could into a single day! From waterfalls to coastal sunsets, here’s everything you need to know to plan your own adventure: 🚗 Start your day: 🏔️ Madison Creek Falls MUST DO: Quick .2-mile walk to a stunning waterfall. We were there in September but in the summer we’ve seen pictures of it much more full 🌀 Devil’s Punch Bowl MUST DO: A 2.5-mile hike with crystal blue water. Feel free to take a dip but it is COLD 🥶 🩵 Marymere Falls MUST DO: A 1.5-mile hike to a picture-perfect cascade. We loved the hike to the waterfall more than the waterfall itself. But again, we were there in September so it wasn’t nearly as full as it is in the summer. 🌲 Big Maple Leaf Tree, Fairholme MUST DO: A short walk from the parking lot to see a massive maple. Also walk out to the boat pier for a beautiful view of Lake Crescent 🥾 Sol Duc Falls MUST DO: A 1.8-mile hike to one of the park’s most iconic waterfalls! This one was pretty busy so get there early! 🌅 Sunset at Cape Flattery MUST DO: A 1.2-mile trail to the westernmost point in the continental U.S.—perfect for ending the day!
