Last night, the drag racing community lost one of its brightest lights. T.j. Bailey wasn’t just the man behind the perfect prep—he was the heart of the track, the embodiment of hard work, and a true believer in lifting others up. His impact stretched far beyond the burnout box. When I had the opportunity to sit down with TJ and listen to his story in his own words. He didn’t just talk about track conditions or racing—he talked about life, about hustle, and about doing things the right way, with integrity and passion. He believed in grinding for what you want, putting in the work when no one is watching, and letting results speak louder than words. Even if you only met him once, you felt his energy. He was humble, kind, and dedicated to making the sport better for everyone. He never sought the spotlight, but without him, so many unforgettable moments wouldn’t have been possible. The track won’t feel the same without him this week as we head into TX2K, but his influence will never fade. REMEMBER TJ THIS WEEK as we lay rubber down. His work, his words, and his spirit will continue to push this community forward.
