OKAY… I’VE GOT A NEW FAVOURITE 4” ROLLER… The roller I use daily but shrunk down to 4” is absolutely insane, it makes so much sense the bigger core gives you so much more surface area when it comes to rolling out! And I think the cage actually flows much nicer than the usual 4” bars we use in the UK, oh and using a metal grid in a bucket loads your paint up much better and keeps the roller open rather than going tight it’ll always open the nap back up when reloading 🤯 I’m thinking maybe we could use these in England aswell 👌🏽 I’ve gotta try get a few of these mini rollers in my suitcase and bring back with me 💪🏽 hopefully will see them on the shelf in the uk one day. #fyp #foru #paintwarrior #painting #tips

BLACK GLOSS CEILING INCOMING… BUT FIRST I DID IT.. I ACTUALLY SPRAYED ZINSSER GARDZ 😮‍💨 AND GOT A COAT OF BLACK ON 🔥 I gotta admit.! It was absolutely lovely 👌🏽 thanks to everyone that replied to my story about spraying it really appreciated the paint fam support 👊🏽 We sanded the ceiling first with the mirka 180grit then clean then Gardz then black, I use the qtech iq3 machine set at 1200psi and used a 518 tip. Cant wait to sand it tomorrow and get a top coat on, we were lucky the plastering was pretty good after a quick sand it didn’t take much. Oh and not one slat or blockage while spraying 🤯 winning 💪🏽 #paintwarrior #painting #tips #xcyzba

DO YOU RE PRIME YOUR PRE PRIMED WOODWORK.. For me yes every time I get anything that’s pre primed I will re prime, firstly I have no idea what primer they’ve used ( it might be absolutely useless ) and secondly it’s rarely done to our standards! These door are going black and they were pre primed, the system we’re using is @tikkurila_uk with the otex Akva primer ( this is probably the darkest this primer will go ) and the top coat is pitch black everal aqua 80 so it’ll have a shine to it. We are spraying it all so I’m not bothered about the primer not being black, but what does matter is using a primer that you can actually rely on, hence why I also re prime my pre primed timber 💪🏽 And it actually lays off sooo nice 😍 it’s dreamy #fyp #paintwarrior #painting #tips #asmr

THOUGHT ID ANSWER A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS ON MY SETTING UP TO PAINT.. I only add a bit of water maybe a 3rd of a pint just to cover the top of the paint and never if the paints from a retail store it must be trade paint. then whisk and filter. Cutting in emulsion brush would be my 2.5” oval angle always wet it first and spin off to help load the paint up Rollers arroworthy blue vein 14mm is the medium I’ll use that or the long pile never the short. Rinse under water and spin off this’ll help load paint on also as it primed it first, And always match the pile with your mini roller. Skuttle liners I’ll reuse it till it falls apart, usually about 10 times per liner.. hope this helps #fyp #paintwarrior #painting #tips
