WILL IT DOLLHOUSE episode 1! When I said ‘anything can be a dollhouse I didn’t expect you guys to make me prove it! But I’m always up for a challenge. So welcome to: will it dollhouse? After making 5 dollhouses (four traditional and the tree) I thought it would be fun to get creative! And also do something a little smaller. In this episode I attempt to turn an old clock into a tiny little dollhouse. You WOULD think that something so small would be very straightforward and easy but funnily enough this project contained all the highs and lows I have come to love and expect from anything miniature related. But it was so fun to try something different! I’d love to hear what you think of this one! #dollhouse #clockdollhouse #miniatures #DIY #clock #willitdollhouse
Making an embroidered flower skirt! There’s nothing better than a holiday refresh but not when it threatens to clean out your holiday savings account! So I made this skirt embroidered with tiny flowers instead, and it was soooo fun to make! #embroidery #DIY #craft
Replying to @Eden Latoya Morrison 🍉 Making Easter Egg Bunny Houses! One of you specifically asked for this, and that was all the push I needed! A few tips for this: - I got the egg from @spotlightstores and I have also seen similar at other big box stores. I have also seen paper mache ones here and there, which would probably be easier to work with. - I used leftover fabric for this, cut into strips using my @fiskars rotary cutter. I have also seen people using patterned tissue paper or napkins to do this sort of thing which I think would be slightly easier to do? But wouldn’t have the same textured fabric effect. - I used a hinge from @bunnings for this, I would actually go a little larger next time or you could also use a piece of felt glued on like a hinge! Comment ‘bunny’ and I can send you the links to the things I used for this!
One mystery item, 30 minutes, let’s make! It’s no secret that I’m a hoarder, I never ever ever ever want to throw anything away. But it’s getting a little crazy in my craft storage room, everything from cardboard cylinders to old cork ad fabric scraps I store in there and it’s very very chaotic. Everyone wants me to declutter and get organised but I don’t want to if it means throwing things away, so instead I’m starting this ‘use it or lose it’ series! Tegan and Lalanya pick a random item from the storage room and I have to DIY it in 30 minutes or less! I feel like maybe if I can gamify my life enough I might finally use everything that I have. I’m sharing this with you just so you can see how the sausage is made, thanks as always to Lalanya and Tegan for keeping me in check and making sure my apple break didn’t go overtime. I don’t even need Pinterest or Ben! How do you think I went with this first challenge? It was a little bit crazy! #readysteadymake #DIY #craftchallenge #diychallenge #diy
