Save and Share my recipe for Salisbury Steak with Cauliflower Mash. I wanted to make my husband a traditional American Dinner that’s quick and budget friendly. Here’s the recipe. Ingredients for the Salisbury Steak: 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef (90/10) 1 egg 3/4 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup ketchup 3 tbsps of mustard 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder Mix everything together and form 5-6 beef patties. Ingredients for the Mushroom Gravy: 8oz of sliced mini portobello mushrooms 1 sliced onion 1 tbsp minced garlic 3 cups beef broth 3 tbsps butter 2 tbsps flour 1/2 tsp salt In a large pan add 3 tbsp of oil and cook beef patties 2 minutes on each side on medium heat. Remove beef patties and add 2 tbsps of butter, minced garlic, onions and mushrooms. Cook for 4-5 minutes then add 1 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsps of flour. Whisk in the flour and then add then add beef broth a cup at a time until reaching desired consistency. Season with salt and add back in the Salisbury Steak to simmer in the gravy for 4-5 minutes to finish cooking. For the cauliflower mash I cut up one head of cauliflower, boiled for 10 minutes, drained, tossed back in pot to cook on low heat for another 5 minutes to dry it out, then blend in the food processor with 2 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsps of cream cheese. I seasoned with a pinch of salt and garlic powder. #salisburysteak #budgetmeals #lowcarbrecipes

Save and Share my recipe for Miso Soup. It’s literally been my diet hack during my calorie deficit. Recipe Ingredients: Half a block of soft tofu (about 2 1/2 ounces) 1 tbsp of dashi powder 1 1/2 tbsps of miso paste A small sprinkle of dried seaweed A sprinkle of sliced green onions 3-4 cups of water Instructions: Simmer water and add dashi powder. Mix until dissolved. Mix in miso paste through a strainer to avoid clumps. Add seaweed and cube tofu into small pieces and add to pot. Lastly add green onions. #misosoup

Here’s my meal prep chia pudding breakfast I’ve been eating during my 75 Hard Challenge. You need 2 tbsps of chia seeds, 1 cup of protein almond milk, 1 cup of nonfat Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp of honey and a dash of cinnamon. Mix really well together and refrigerate overnight. Making homemade dog food. I did a lot of research and nutrition for dogs before testing this recipe out. I do want to point out he’s missing some omega-3s in this meal so next time I’m going to add sardines or salmon. I I just didn’t want to try too many new foods all at once so I’m introducing slowly. He also takes a multi vitamin just to make sure everything is covered. Here’s the recipe if you want to try. 4 pounds lean ground turkey 4 ounces of chicken hearts and gizzards 3 tbsps coconut oil 3 large sweet potatoes 1 cup of rice (rinse rice) 4-5 cups of water Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes. Then add about 3 cups of broccoli and 1 bag of frozen peas. Cover with a lid and simmer for another 10 minutes and then mash. #homemadedogfood #dogfoodrecipe

Ingredients for sauce: 3 tablespoons of butter 1 tbsp of olive oil 1 can of tomato sauce 1 cup of heavy cream 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese (more or less depending on your preference ) 1/2 teaspoon of salt, pepper and garlic powder 1 tablespoon of sugar In a large pan melt butter and add olive oil. Once melted add tomato sauce and seasoning. Simmer for 4-5 minutes for sauce to thicken and then add cream and Parmesan cheese. Once cheese melts toss in on box of cooked pasta. Let cool for 15 minutes so the sauce will thicken more before serving. #vodkapasta

The salsa verde you can do store bought if you want to save time. Mine has tomatillos, white onion, jalapeños, garlic, chicken bullion, oregano and salt. This I how I made my Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich recipe. Ingredients 1 1/2 pounds ribeye steak thinly sliced 1 large chopped onion 1/2 a large chopped green bell pepper 2 cups sliced mushrooms 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper and garlic powder 3 tablespoons of olive oil Instructions In a large pan add two tablespoons of olive and heat to low. Toss in onions and cook for 5 minutes and continuously stir until onion soften. Next toss in bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes before adding in the mushrooms. Cook for another 3-4 minutes and push everything to half the pan. Add remaining only and cook ribeye steak. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic. Cook until beef is done and layer on multiple slices of provolone cheese. Serve on toast bread. #phillycheesesteak #steakrecipe #recipes

Replying to @Mama Gookie '73 Here’s my second attempt of making dog food for Cooper. I boiled a whole chicken, shredded it, removed the skin and set aside the broth to boil everything else. I blended liver, chicken hearts and sardines and cooked it in coconut oil. Then poured in chicken broth, sweet potato, rice, broccoli and frozen spinach. This is still not a substitute for all his meals because he still eats kibble, but I like giving him some variety. #homemadedogfood
