Some polite airplane etiquette next time you’re enjoying meal service✈️😊 it takes a while for the flight attendants to feed 100-400 people in 10 minutes, so by being prepared and having your order ready really helps make it a smoother and faster process🙏🏻🥹 #airplaneetiquette #flightattendant

Did you know that flight attendants aren’t actually trying to be annoying when they ask you to put your window shade up for takeoff and landing? 😅 It’s actually for safety! In case of emergency, we have to see if there’s any water, fire, or debris outside before evacuating ✈️ #FlightSafety #TravelTips #FlightAttendant #FlightAttendantTips #SafetyFirst
It’s totally okay to ask a flight attendant for two drinks, like a water and a coffee. Many passengers do it, especially on longer flights or if one drink is hydrating and the other has caffeine. Just be polite and specific when you ask—something like: “Could I please have a coffee and a water?” Flight attendants appreciate clear, kind requests. If they’re busy or the cart is tight on space, they might bring one first and come back with the other, but your request is perfectly reasonable😊 Do you ever ask for two drinks on a flight? As a flight attendant, I meet so many passengers who are terrified of turbulence. I always do my best to comfort them and remind them they’re in safe hands. Here’s what I say in those moments, in case it helps you too🙏🏻😊✈️ 🚗“Turbulence is normal—like bumps in the road.” Think of flying like driving a car on a road, sometimes you’ll hit a bump or too, it’s normal and nothing to be scared of. ✈️“Planes are built to handle it—the wings are super strong and flexible.” Modern aircraft are tested in extreme conditions. They can handle far more than we ever experience on a regular flight. 👨🏻✈️“Pilots are trained for this and monitor everything closely.” They’re in constant communication with air traffic control and weather systems, and can usually tell ahead of time if there will be turbulence and try to fly around/above/below it. 😮💨“You’re safe. Just keep your seatbelt on and breathe.” That belt is your best protection—you’re secure! Take a couple of deep breaths and remind yourself that everything will be okay. 🍪“Want water or a snack? I’ve got you.” A small gesture can shift focus and bring comfort. Especially if you have your favorite cookies and a ginger ale😌 🥹“You’re doing great. I’ll check in on you again soon” Kindness and presence go a long way! We want to make sure you have a safe and pleasant experience flying. Scared of turbulence? ✈️ Save this for your next flight—or send it to someone who gets nervous in the air💛 #FlightAttendantTips #FearOfFlying #TurbulenceTips #TravelComfort #FlyingAnxiety #FlightAttendant #TravelTips #Turbulence #FlyingTips
