Oh beans!!! I’m happy to report Bonzo has been doing SO well in her forever home, and I can’t wait to share that update with you all. It’s been a bittersweet weekend for me and I’m finally processing the incredible journey we’ve all taken together over the last two and a half months. I’m reminiscing and crying happy tears. SO proud of Garbanzo. She’s just starting the beginning of her happily ever after with a momma who loves her the way I always hoped❤️

To everyone who has applied to adopt our sweet girl, I just want to say thank you SO much. Choosing an adopter certainly won’t be easy to say the least. You’re all wonderful! There were many lovely people & applications, but after much deliberation and consideration, we’ve narrowed our search and have begun the next step - meet & greets! Bonzo’s first meeting went beautifully. I’ll only share details about the adopters when her forever home has been decided for privacy & respect reasons, but I’ll say this: this went SO well and Bonzo had a great time❤️ This adopter meets all of Bonzo’s requirements, wants, and needs, and is an absolutely lovely person. I really enjoyed getting to know her! Our next potential adopter comes for a meet and greet Wednesday🐾

She really almost does need a moving van!!! There will certainly be an adjustment period as Bonzo transitions to her forever home, but our plan should make it easier for them both. My heart is so, so full right now❤️

Day 1 has been quite eventful! The spiciness is already fading fast❤️

Bonzo did SO well with each meet and greet! She genuinely liked every potential adopter - I was really hoping she’d just seem to click with only one person, but she’s become such a social butterfly that she got along well with each one! I could see her very happy in any of these homes, but will be sharing my decision on her forever home tomorrow❤️

Bonzo did so well with her second meet and greet!! All the potential adopters have been so lovely, and so kind to allow things to be filmed and shared! Please remember these are real people and to treat them with the same kindness we show Bonzo❤️ She has one more meet and greet on Sunday, and then I’ll be finalizing the decision. She’s truly ready for her forever home and I couldn’t be prouder, but my goodness it’s bittersweet. I can’t tell you how much I love our girl!🫶🏼🐾
