As i sat at Dads grave 2 days ago i had an overwhelming amount of thoughts and grief around today and a reminder of how long he’s been gone. I looked in my bag and i had a note book and a pen so i sat, next to dad, and wrote this. everything in that moment that i wanted to tell him. After loosing Dad the one constant in my life has been the feeling of grief. Adapting to this new version of life over the past 4 years has been the hardest thing ever, but to sit next to him and write this down made me feel very peaceful. Happy birthday my angel. i hope you can see us, i hope your proud of us. i hope your laughing with us through the funny times and i hope you’ve got an arm around us in the tough one’s. Till we meet again ❤️
