My boy Ace was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It’s actually a huge relief, because we’ve had a feeling for a long time that something was off. Now we finally have an explanation, and can start focusing on getting the right treatment❤️ soon he’ll be back to his energetic, happy "old" self again At first, I thought he was just getting older and slowing down, but over the past few weeks I started noticing more signs: fatigue, weight gain without an increased appetite, a very thin coat with bald patches, getting cold easily, and not wanting to go for walks or runs like he used to.

Can't wait for a summer filled with hiking, camping and memories❤️
